Luo Luo won the wind power support ship design and equipment orders

Recently, Østensjø Rederi's service operation vessel for supporting offshore wind farm operations will be designed and supplied by Rolls-Royce.
This is the first order of Rolls-Royce's new ship design UT 540 WP, which will be the base for offshore wind farm technicians to carry out maintenance work on the Race Bank offshore wind farm in the UK. It is expected to be delivered in mid-2017, from Spain. Built by Astilleros Gondan Shipyard, it is 81 meters long and 17 meters wide.
In addition to the design, Luo Luo will also supply diesel-electric machinery, including variable-frequency controlled power azimuth thrusters, ultra-quiet configuration lateral thrusters, deck machinery and the latest generation Acon automation and control systems.
